This John Boos Prep Master Carving and Mezzaluna block is two cutting boards in one! The top side is a large 18 x 18 inch cutting area with wide 7/8" juice grooves that funnel toward a built-in, stainless steel drip tray. This makes carving a breeze, as juices and trimmings are easily whisked away with a stroke of the knife.

Flip the block over however and you now have a rounded mezzaluna block, perfect for cutting herbs and spices. Made from 2-1/4" thick edge grain maple, these blocks will last for years to come. 

We also have a smaller 15 x 14 John Boos Prep Master as well as a 18 x 18 Prep Master without the added mezzaluna.

Each block comes finished with Boos Mystery Oil as well as Boos Board Cream, both of which we recommend for continued maintenance of your block.
