Made for pastry chefs is this John Boos Pastry Board. A slightly smaller version of the 24" square surface, this board features a lip on both sides to hold the board in place when kneading pizza, bread, or pastry dough. At 1-1/4" thick, this solid maple board is hefty and will not slide out of place or run away while kneading! Once you're done with your dough work, simply flip over this reversible board for a clean working space for all your cutting and chopping needs. This knead board even includes a groove on the prep work side to catch juices for minimum mess.
John Boos boards are made in the USA from Northern White Hardrock Maple, an elegant and beautiful native hardwood. For maintenance, CuttingBoard.com highly recommends regular application of Boos Mystery Oil as well as Boos Block Cream. To clean, scrub with mild soap, warm water and dry immediately.
