The John Boos Au Jus Maple 20 x 15 x 1.5 board is a cutting board designed specifically for carving juicy roasts and BBQ preparation. With extra wide sloped juice grooves, this board easily collects all your meat trimmings and juices to keep your table area clean and tidy. As a bonus, the au jus board is reversible with a flat cutting surface on the bottom and features carved hand grips for easy handling of the board.
Maple is both resistant to knife scarring and has natural antimicrobial properties, making it an excellent choice for working with meats. John Boos uses sustainably harvested, North American hard rock maple for the construction of all of their maple boards. Maple can be thirsty and we recommend maintenance with cutting board oil every 4 to 6 weeks, or when the board is dry to the touch.
