24th Mar 2023

Spring is upon us and with it comes a new season of foods to bring into your diet! Arugula, blueberries, and salmon are just a few of our favorite foods to incorporate into spring meals because of their richness in vitamins and, not to mention, they are delicious. Some of the best cutting boards to prep and serve spring foods are our new Acacia Wood Cutting Boards. Not only are they durable for any kind of food prep, but they also have a gorgeous grain to step up your food presentation.

Arugula is an excellent source of vitamins A, C, and K. It is also a good source of minerals including potassium, calcium, and magnesium. All of these nutrients work together to provide numerous health benefits. Arugula is a great antioxidant, meaning it can help fight off damage to cells and DNA. This makes it a powerful tool in the prevention of diseases such as cancer. Arugula is also a detoxifier, meaning it helps rid the body of harmful toxins. This can help improve overall health and reduce the risk of developing chronic diseases.

Blueberries are also a rich source of antioxidants, as well as vitamins C and K. They have been shown to help improve memory and cognitive function, as well as reduce the risk of heart disease and cancer.

Working with blueberries can often be messy, but our Acacia Wood Cutting Boards can withstand the dark juices of berries in general and won't stain easily.

Salmon is a fatty fish that is high in omega-3 fatty acids. These fatty acids are important for heart health and help to reduce the risk of chronic diseases. Salmon is also a good source of protein and vitamin D. Together, these nutrients work to promote overall health and well-being.

There are many easy and delicious recipes that include arugula, blueberries, and salmon to help bring them into your springtime diet. Here are a few of our favorites:
